TOEIC

The TOEIC® (Test of English for International Communication) is an external test created and distributed by ETS, an American company that specializes in Academic testing. It is one of the most widely used language tests in the world, with over 24 million tests being administered each year throughout the world.
Structure
The version of the test used at the ECPM, the "Listening and Reading" version, consists of 200 questions divided equally between the two sections. The listening section lasts about 45 minutes, and the reading section lasts 1 hour and 15 minutes.
800/990
Students at the ECPM need to obtain 800 out of 990 on the TOEIC to graduate.
The results of the test are converted into a score between 10 and 990 (5 and 495 for each section), which can be correlated to the scale of the Common European Framework of language levels.
Level | Score |
---|---|
A1 | 120 |
A2 | 225 |
B1 | 550 |
B2 | 785 |
C1 | 945 |
